English 11 Plus
Children have to use and respond to English in many different ways during primary school. Each year they develop their understanding of the core elements of communication, language and literacy through a range of objectives that are set out within twelve learning strands (outlined in the Primary Literacy Framework).
Two thirds of these strands relate to the fundamental aspects of:
